Puppy at 2017 MarchJoin thousands of animal lovers on Saturday, May 5 and benefit the homeless pets at the Maryland SPCA. The walk will take place in Port Covington, starting at West Covington Park at 101 W. Dickman Street, Baltimore, MD 21230 at 10 a.m.

Event Schedule: All around Port Covington this year are musical performers, our loyal community vendors, food trucks and food vendors; alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase by adults 21-years-of age or older with proper I.D. in the concert area; photo booth opportunities; dog games; kids crafts and games. And, there will be plenty of pets to meet and watch!

We encourage pets to participate in the walk-a-thon and pet activities. Please note that while pets will be allowed at the Festival as this is a pet-friendly event, within the Concert area there will be certain designated spaces where dogs will not be allowed for the safety of your pets.

Entry into the Event: All walk participants 18-years-old and over, are required to raise/donate a minimum of $40 to participate in the walk-a-thon at the Maryland SPCA Festival for the Animals and receive a t-shirt and a dog bandana (while supplies last.)

If you are planning to attend the Concert starting at 1 p.m., you will need one of three things to be admitted into the Concert area.

  • The wristband you receive when checking in at the walk-a-thon the morning of.
  • Your 2018 Festival for the Animals t-shirt that you will receive on May 5.

Bringing you pup?

When the music starts at 1, we will have pet safe zones—sponsored by Pet+E.R.-Towson—where people can safely listen to the music with their pets. And if the day is too long for your pet, Downtown Dog Resort, located just down the road from our Festival is allowing pet owners to drop their pets off until the concert ends at no charge. Please bring your vet records and stop at their vendor table.
