MD SPCA Board of Directors
Each of us is proud to be a member of the Maryland SPCA Board of Directors, where we see firsthand all of the amazing work done on behalf of pets and people in our community. Funds raised by the 22nd March for the Animals will support the Maryland SPCA's efforts to help more than 15,000 hurt and homeless pets each year.
One of those 15,000 sweet faces helped last year was beautiful mom, Shiloh, a St. Bernard/Hound who was brought to the Maryland SPCA unwanted and pregnant. About to give birth any minute, Shiloh received around-the-clock care with one of our wonderful foster families, who provided her with comfort during her long and arduous labor. Happily, Shiloh and her 10 puppies were all adopted. Donations for this family covered food, wellness exams, spay-neuter surgeries, and microchips for each of Shiloh and her puppies.
The Maryland SPCA receives no government funding but, because of your support, we can continue to provide pets like Shiloh with the love and care that they desperately need.
Thank you from all of us!
