The MD SPCA helps over 10,000 pets a year, including all five of my babies.
Specifically, this year, I'm part of the Ringworm Ringlettes, marching to support our ringworm quarantine area. For years, animals with ringworm were euthanized at most shelters for being contagious. I've met sweet kittens whose lives ended because no one was able to house them with a contagious disease at home with their pets. As a result, four years ago, the MD SPCA rented a ringworm quarantine trailer where we have saved thousands of lives, including ringworm cases at our shelter and others we have pulled from shelters who couldn't treat them. It has saved so many of the most vulnerable lives and is a program super worth supporting.
Thank you for supporting this lifesaving work with me!
